The only stimulus money that made it out the door was to the banks….They were supposed to lend it to small businesses and they in turn create jobs…….THAT WAS A TOTAL FAILURE…..The banks used the money to buy other banks and now they are lending to no one……No lending means no jobs………Anyone who claims the stimulus was anything other than a complete failure is lying…….

I think when they tried first selling it, they used the term create jobs. Since then, they have changed the terminology to saved jobs. Of coarse saved jobs cannot be measured or proven one way or another.
In addition, there have been many, many more jobs lost in the private sector, than any created or saved jobs in the public or government sector. The reason some businesses have shown greater revenue is due to cost cutting, in the labor force.
The Obama administration is clearly more interested in producing higher numbers on Wall Street, and profits on Corporation Boulevard, than jobs on Main Street.

Obama claims that the stimulus has saved or created 150,000 jobs. I have excellent math skills (I sort of need them for my job) and if what he says is true, then he has put 0.025% of the newly unemployed back to work.
I am not about to claim the so-called recovery act is working when my calculations show that less than 1% of the unemployed population has been put back to work.

It is absolutely criminal the way these books are being "cooked" by former Cook County hacks who are now high-salaried bean counters in the White House. The stimulus program is a glorified candy shop for sweets to be handed out to those with Democrat Party connections…who then split the green up in bags for those who are at the grass roots of the party.
