Did you look for it in tools?
It may be disabled.
If you have the Firefox browser,open tools,then add-ons,then extensions and see if it’s disabled.
In the Microsoft IE browser,go to view ,then toolbars and make sure that McAfee Site Advisor has a check mark in front of it. References :
Also FYI, I wouldn’t trust Site Advisor much, as some bad Websites have a green rating. FinallyFast.com is obviously a bad site, but Site Advisor rates it green.

I have McAfee as well, and I taught I was protected but I go to find out that I have a virus. So I’m guessing McAfee does suck.

Im sorry to say but Mc Afee is one of the worst antiviruses out there.
