You need to run the MCPR.exe tool to remove the remnant McAfee from a messy uninstallation. It would be ideal to close your running programs before running the MCPR.exe tool and that means closing the browser and messenger and so on.
Scroll down to: Step 2 - Download and run MCPR.exe
1. Download the removal tool from:

Do a search for mcafee and include hidden files and system files.

By the way - that product - PerfectUninstaller is anything but perfect. WOT rates this site as RED. I would advise you to remove this program as soon as possible or you may end up with further problems.

EDIT: Right - we are clearer now to why you want to remove SiteAdvisor. I too used MCPR.exe tool to remove SiteAdvisor on my computer, I rebooted, and then I installed KIS 2009 without a hitch. I don’t know what else you’ve done apart from trying to use Perfect Uninstaller and I told you already that program can cause damage. What error did it say why your laptop shutdown - there must be a message or a box saying that.
I sent you 2 emails and all you’ve done is put unhelpful replies in the additional details. I’m not going to send you anymore emails. Well? Did you re-install MCPR.exe and reboot, and then try installing Kaspersky again? You haven’t said.
What? You say that now, why didn’t you say that before that you couldn’t reached me? Because you say that now makes your claims unbelievable.

Mcafee site advisor is a add-on for your browser. You must open your browser and go to add-ons and uninstall it there.
