You can use both at the same time. I have used both and haven’t had any isssues.I don’t find any conflicts with them.

Site Advisor is a browser plug-in…it has to run in the browser…you can turn it off if you want, but it’s such a great program, there’s no reason to…I’m in the decided minority that frankly doesn’t like Firefox (the interface anyway), so I still use IE (with pretty much every possible safeguard I can, including SiteAdvisor)…but it generally works like a charm, and totally compatible…I assume if you’re loading it (SiteAdvisor), you loaded the right version for your browser…but use it in comfort References :

I think there should be no problems. mcafee site adviser has a plug in for mozilla firefox. http://www.siteadvisor.com/download/ff_preinstall.html

Yes mozilla and mcafee sit advisor can be used together.
And IT IS very safe for browsing.
