Fun Fact: Van Jones Is Not A Communist

Posted by admin on September 7th, 2009 and filed under site advisor | 25 Comments »

http://www.airamerica.com Fox News pundit Glenn Beck has been doing his best to brand the White House special advisor as a Communist.

The truth is Van Jones is an extremely pro-business, eco-friendly capitalist who’s market-based ideas have been promoted for years most notably in his best-selling book, The Green Collar Economy.

It is true that in his youth, Van Jones was known to have spouted 1960s rhetoric and romanticizing revolutionary icons. Who hasn’t done that?

During that time he did claim to be a communist, but has since rejected those youthful notions and moved on to seek more effective and attainable solutions.

One thing Van Jones has not rejected is his unholy alliance with the turtle neck, something that will cost him dearly when this years ‘best dressed’ lists emerge .

Stock investment opportunity: open now - invest now.

Posted by admin on September 4th, 2009 and filed under site advisor reviews | No Comments »

What to invest in during a share market downturn

New Stock investment opportunity from a country NOT in recession.

The share market is cyclical. Markets go up and down. What do you invest in now? What will be the next big thing?
Unlisted companies offer biggest potential

All listed companies started out as unlisted companies until the time was right to IPO. The real trick is to invest in an unlisted company that has real potential. How do you get high returns like successful venture capitalists without having to invest millions? Don’t forget, VC’s investors get in on unlisted companies and get first bite at the cherry. You need to do the same. VC’s invest in the future - which quickly becomes the present.

It is now well accepted that the internet is still the next wave. There are many internet sites getting lots of traffic - but are they making any money? Even mega sites like Twitter and YouTube are struggling to create a profitable business model.
How do internet businesses make money?

Despite all the words written and the hype there are, in fact, only 2 ways for an internet company to make money:

1. Sell a product or service - such as Amazon or the banks.

2. Get paid advertising - such as Google or Yahoo!

In the perfect website, you would combine both business models. Who does that?
The Perfect Website

In a perfect world you would have a site that combines all the key money-making ingredients. So you need an online shopping site with local and international sellers, and of course, payment services to support payments. Better still if the shopping site was run by a financial institution. Next you need a highly profitable advertising model where you can acquire paying business customers and on-sell real world advertising as well. If you haven’t found such a site that’s not unexpected, as few have the capabilities and technology to do all the above - however it does exist.

In fact, such a website exists which combines online selling and paid advertising. You need to check out the Zimbo website at http://www.zimbo.com.au

Technocash Limited is seeking investment money to expand its new Zimbo division. If you have a small or large amount of money to invest then you can now invest in Zimbo. Anyone in the world can invest in its shares offer. Technocash has been operating since 2000 and has real revenues.
Zimbo is its new internet expansion division.

Investing in a business that makes profitable money is what investors should seek. ZimboPages is in the advertising media space. With over 2 million businesses in Australia alone, there is a huge local market ripe for tapping into and we have a highly profitable business model. Each business signing up for a ZimboPages Gold Listing makes Zimbo money.

Share prices are down in the stockmarket at the moment, so you could be looking at unlisted investment solutions at this stage of the economic cycle. Zimbo is based in Australia, and is dedicated to earning respect for its visionary yet practical advertising website. Don’t forget, Australia is one of the only major Western economies NOT IN RECESSION. This makes Australia a great place to invest.
Government Registered Offer document

Yes you can invest now in an offer document lodged with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (which is the Australian equivalent of the SEC in the USA). Applications can only be accepted on the form attached to the offer document at:

http://www.zimbo.com.au/ois

It is rare that an offer document can be independently verified by a Government securities regulator’s website. Just search for “Technocash” at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission list of registered prospectuses and offer documents at:

http://www.search.asic.gov.au/offerlist/offerlist_issuer_name.html

See their most up-to-date offer document. The verification on a regulator’s website provides real comfort for investors. As this company has limited stock available, you should check it out today.

How to uninstall Mcafee site advisor?

Posted by admin on September 2nd, 2009 and filed under site advisor | 1 Comment »

I’m using it before as a Firefox add-on,and i don’t know how to uninstall it.the uninstall button is disable and it is not in add/remove programs.how can i remove it?????

There are two ways to uninstall:

1. Unless it you have it installed for Firefox, then it would be:
Tools / Add-ons / Extensions tab
Scroll down to MacAfee SiteAdvisor, click it, to highlight it, and select Uninstall.
Restart Firefox, for the change to take effect.

2. I don’t know whether Add/Remove is safe, as the service is running and brute-force removal might cause problems.
If it’s not in the Start menu, uninstaller location is here
C:\Program Files\SiteAdvisor\6066\Uninstall.exe
I suspect it’s safest thing to do, just run the official uninstaller.
Reboot afterwards.

Help Stop Hacking!

Posted by admin on September 1st, 2009 and filed under mcfee site advisor | 23 Comments »

A video inspired by Velvecorp. Thanks, man, I’m happy to be your partner.

Music used: The first song was from the Mcafee SiteAdvisor commercial, and the second one was from the ESET Smart Security Commercial. Lol, ESET FTW!

Here’s a few things you can do to avoid hackers:

1. Never believe any one who says he or she is a moderator. Real moderators have his or her name in yellow. Just report the impersonator for greifing, if he or she asks for your account information.

2. No matter what someone may offer you, whether it be a membership or ACs, never give away your password. Rather report the scammer for greifing.

3. If a scammer or hacker claims he or she will ban or report you if you do not hand over your account information, just ignore he or she, and simply report the person.

4. Make your password something long and hard to guess, instead of something, for example, like 12345 or asdf. Trust me, those are the first thing that hackers guess. Also, try to change your password maybe once or twice a month.

5. If you happen to download a cheat engine, have a really good antivirus, like NOD32. It could possibly be a trojan or keylogger that can ruin your computer or steal your account information.

6. Overall, never give your password to anyone, no matter the situation. I’m talking about your mom, your dad, your brother or sister, your best friend, and even your dog!!! You can never really trust a person, let alone an animal…

To help stop hacking, sign up at the link in the video. I will setup a hacker’s list, thanks Velvecorp for the idea, so other players have a reference in the future.
